We are excited about the increased number and types of
co-curricular activities we are able to make available to our
students.
We believe that there is an enormous value in the
co-curricular experiences students are able to participate in outside of
the four walls of their classrooms. Not only do these experiences provide
a level of understanding of the greater community, but they are also
create an incentive for students to succeed.
Participation in any of the co-curricular activities requires
that students maintain a 2.0 average and have good behavior and
attendance.
In 2004-2005, students participated in the following:
-
Student Government
-
National Honor Society
-
Teen Arts Festival
-
CREATE Crusher Cheerleading Competitive Teams
-
Holla Back Literary
Magazine
-
Yearbook
-
CREATE Angel Network (charitable fundraising and community
service club)
-
Special Olympics.
Students went on field trips related to the curriculum,
marched in community parades, and went to Dorney Park as a reward for good
behavior and good attendance.
There were school dances and a formal prom.
